This year I have grown a lot in LA, but I believe that I grew the most in general writing skills. I practiced this during our writing in all of Language Arts class including writing prompts, debriefing forms, and the storybook project. I know this growth because the length and detail of my writing has improved, as well as the craftsmanship of my writing. An artifact to show this growth is the storybook project. My writing and paintings for the storybook were planned out making the writing better. Planning out my writing before starting shows that I grew in craftsmanship.

 

Another thing I grew in was my handwriting. It drastically improved over the course of about 30 journal entries. I improved it by slowing down and going more smoothly and steadily. I am very proud because now I can write and other people will be able to read it.

 

Another set of artifacts are an earlier debriefing form and a later debriefing because again the detail and length has greatly improved. This proves my growth because it shows how I am taking my time on my writing. This will help me to have better writing in the future.
